Bench Plaque

John Isitt has completed a lot of research for the bench in Archbishop’s Park dedicated to Temple’s. The Committee met on 28/08/2024. It was agreed that the bench will have two plaques with the following wording:

Plaque 1: Archbishop Temple’s School, “The School in The Park”, 1904-1975, www.oldlambethans.co.uk

Plaque 2: Donated by Old Lambethans’ Association commemorating Archbishop Temple’s School that resided here 1904-1974 after charity schools, founded in 1661, were merged.

A quotation for the cost of the bench, plaque and installation will soon be provided by Lambeth Council.
